Postage & Refunds

Please note: During peak sale/holiday periods, despatch of orders may be delayed. Once orders have shipped we do not have control over the delivery times.

If you wish to avoid shipping charges you can find Mr Fothergill's products at all good garden retailers nationwide. Here is a list of our major stockists. Please note that not all stockists carry the full range.

 

Postage Charges

We have a tiered postage charge system depending on the type of products you order, please see below.


Small orders under $12 - Due to the cost of processing orders we have had to implement a $4 handling surcharge for small orders under the value of $12. Our postage charges are outlined in the table below:

Group 1 - Standard packet seed products, small spare parts.

Group 1 – Standard seed products
On standard seed orders, postage and handling is $5.00 for any number of seed packets. 
Small order handling surcharge of $4 applies for orders under $12. See table above for details. 

Group 2 – Non-seed Items such as Jiffy® products
If your order includes Jiffy® products, we set the postage and handling charge at $10.00 for any number of products. This is due to the size of these products. 
Small order handling surcharge of $4 applies for orders under $12. See table above for details.

Group 3 – Bulky items such as Kitchen Seed Sprouters
If your order includes bulky items such as a Kitchen Seed Sprouter, we set the postage and handling charge at $15.00 for any number of products. This is due to the size and added weight of these products.

Delivery Times

Your order will be processed the next business day (where possible). We aim to deliver your order within the following timeframes from successful payment, depending on your location, although there may be a slight variation depending on the postal services in your area:

  • North Island - 5 to 7 days 
  • South Island - 7 to 10 days 

Delivery Outside Of New Zealand

We do not ship outside of New Zealand. However, we do have a webstore in Australia should you wish to purchase for someone in Australia. Please visit: https://www.mrfothergills.com.au

Refunds & Replacements

All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us web page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Lost or Missing Orders

If you received tracking details with your order. Please use these to follow up on the location of your order. If your order seems to have gone missing then please contact us so we can investigate.

If your seed order was sent without tracking. We will deem a package lost after 20 days from shipment. Please contact us should you not receive your order within this time frame.
