Keep the plants well watered and prepare the soil well by adding organic material and a complete fertiliser. For early crops, sow seeds in punnets or trays and plant out when strong enough. Zucchinis like a sunny, sheltered position. Seedlings emerge 6-10days. Tip: Your first crop will be ready 8 weeks from sowing. Cut when about 15cm long and harvest regularly to encourage a continuous crop.
