Ensure the danger of frost has passed, and protect plants from wind. Remove weeds regularly. Water well in dry weather and mulch to keep the roots cool. Support with canes, netting or bean frames. Contain the size by regularly pinching out growing tips when shoots are 20-30cm (8-12”) long.
