Product Description
Botanical Name: Allium cepa
These golden onions store well for up to 10 months. Slow to bolt and an excellent keeper. Performs best in heavily manured and well dug site. Lift when tops start to wilt and fall over. Golden globes of delicious white flesh with good resistance to bolting.

Sow 5mm (¼”) deep, in rows 20cm (8”) apart. Cover with fine soil and keep moist. Thin seedlings early to 2cm (1”) and later to 10cm (4”) apart. Prepare the soil well by adding organic material and a pre-planting fertiliser. Seedlings emerge 10-14 days.

All goods we sell must be of acceptable quality and fit for the purpose they are sold for. If your seeds or bulbs do not grow for whatever reason we will happily provide you with a replacement. For all other products, please contact our head office through our contact us page. Please note we are not required to give refunds for change of mind or under any other circumstances.

Note to WA Customers! The Dept of Agriculture and Food in WA have significantly increased their inspection fee for any seed sent into the state. As this cost is covered by us, we have unfortunately had to increase our postage charges to WA.
